Meeting with Taiwan’s Vice-President Chen at the Presidential Building

　

 Within the framework of the preparation of the “2020 Global Health Literacy Congress” to be held in Kaohsiung in October 2020, Prof. Vincent Rollet, GIES scholar and advisor to the Asian Health Literacy Association (AHLA) met with Vice-President Chen Chien-jen on November 7^th, 2019 at the Presidential Building with other members of AHLA and E-DA hospital representatives.

　　　　　　　

During this meeting, Prof. Vincent Rollet who made a short statement about the link between health literacy, democracy and human rights, also had the opportunity to exchange with the Vice-President about our Graduate Institute on European Studies (GIES), the Jean Monnet Module on Environmental Health (co-organized with Prof. Armin Ibitz) and to offer him his edited book on European and Asian Official Development Assistance which includes one chapter on Taiwan’s health assistance to developing countries.
